Did anyone here move into a house with a rough attic (standard now for new 3,000 sf houses in Lakewood), and then later construct the attic?
I’m looking for guidance and don’t know where to start.

Bump. Doesn’t have to only be an attic. If anyone did small construction and could advise, that’s great too!

My cousin just did it. The rough attic had the plumbing for the bathroom and I’m pretty sure even the framing for two bedrooms. Whatever the case was there was no designing to do the bedrooms and bathroom were obvious. She got a few quotes and went with one of them.

He moved walls for us, finished some closets and pulled plumbing for a second sink. Easy to work with, and neat, clean work. Was very happy.
