Can you please recommend a minivan?
I need an 8 seater since we have 6 kids. My kids are mostly teenagers so leg room and space is important. I’ve noticed most minivans have a skinny middle seat which nobody could fit into. Can a carseat fit there? I assume not.
I do have a toddler so I need the carseat to fit.
I’ve been looking into Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna mostly. I would like to buy 4-5 years old to get a better price. Is there a particular year that is better than others?
Please guide me.

I have an 8 seater EXL odyssey ( 05) with that skinny middle seat . My normal size 12 yr old sits in it fine! But it def cannot fit a carseat for your toddler. Love my van, just dream about that built in vac that came in later models ..

You should test drive a few models so you can see for yourself how they feel. Definitely focus on sienna and Odyssey if space is important to you. How often will the middle seat be used? I'm a 110 lb adult and I've sat in that seat just fine in an Odyssey. I would not necessarily recommend it to someone bigger or for long trips. It's not an ideal seat for a car seat.

I have a 2013 sienna. The middle front seat can not be used for a car seat or booster. I’ve sat in the middle seat and I’m 5 5 and for a two hour trip it was fine.
