my husband passed away last month and next week I need to make/host a dinner for post-putting up the matzeiva

I've never ever done anything like this before. I'm so overwhelmed!!

someone got me a shul basement for free

but I still need to hire a caterer to set up the place including tablecloths etc, bring food hot and put them out, then clean up afterwards.

I want to hire someone so this way I don't have to worry about rushing or setting up or all these hundreds of details.

I don't know who does this? every caterer I look up does these fancy shmancy set ups.

it's only for about 60 people and I'm really not looking to do anything fancy it's a sad ocassion -it just has to be good crowd pleasing food.

who should I call? would a deli kind of retaurant do this? HELP!

Some other ‘cheaper’ caterers
Niasoff
Simcha caterers
Caterer to go - will deliver food (I think it’s a devision of simcha caterers)
Allison caterer - very cheap - not sure #

I’ve used kugel king in the past, great prices and great food.
For tablecloths etc there’s a website called event it. They’ll deliver everything (tablecloths, plates, spoons, cups, napkins, centerpieces etc) straight to your door for a very reasonable price.

Kugel king might be Allison catering.

Most caterers will supply the tablecloths and waiters.
If you use a catering to go you need to get the tablecloths and paper goods.
