Hi, I'm interested in finding out more about Miami. DH wants Aventura.
How much does a family of 5 need to earn in order to live without going paycheck-to-paycheck?
What’s the cost of living there?
Tuitions for modern orthodox high school & middle school.
Any info on the job market would be great.
TIA.

I looked into it years ago. Miami (Florida) has great tax laws, I think very limited income tax, but high cost of living. Housing is expensive as well as tuitions and groceries.
I heard many people are going to boca raton, about an hour away from Miami. Housing is reasonable, maybe cost of living is less than Miami. Maybe you want to check that out?

Tuition for middle school in local MO schools would be around 28k with some increase into HS. I'm sure there are scholarships available for eligible families. Housing costs vary widely...

If you are set in living in Aventura
Contact the shuls in the area and speak to the rabbi
The Rabbis in the area are VERY helpful.
I, myself live in Turnberry, in an apartment.
But I’m Sephardic and we are across the street from the Sephardic Synagogue, Edmund J. Safra Synagogue.
It has many young families, but we get a fair share of snow birds.
