oh yes. that's my secret ingredient. no recipe. start with raw chopped onion. next add big chunks of potato and sweet potato. then meat . then washed barley. squirt of ketchup and BBQ sauce, spices. last, goes the baked beans and some water. that's it. I use the crockpot liners, and fill the crock first halfway with water. no precooking. set on low, right before Shabbos.

Yes I've only used it rinsed and drained, no canned liquid or aquafaba.
