Are there usually catered getaways for Shabbos Chanukah? Has anyone advertised one already?
Alternately, if we want to go away without an organized program and do the food ourselves, where could we go? Is there a nice hotel near a place with snow tubing, ice skating, other winter fun for families?
We live in NY but would drive to NJ, CT, PA...

that's why for sure a kosher program is preferable, I would also imagine hotels everywhere will be booked

Chabad of the Poconos often does a program at either Kalahari or in Scranton. You could check their website or email them. If not, there are a few nice hotels in Scranton (Hilton, Raddison) where you could stay and make your own Shabbos. They're only a 10-15 minute walk to local shuls, and about a 15 minute drive to Montage Mountain, which has skiing and snowtubing.

And here's one in Vermont that's geared toward skiers: https://www.kosherskitours.com/

The Scranton Shabbaton would be perfect for you - really friendly, mixed, diverse crowd, definitely not majority chassidic or modern

The yeshiva doesn't sell food. The yeshiva co-op is a grocery store located on the yeshiva grounds. The food is NOT ready made, so dont expect that.
The chabad weekend is the better way to go. It's good food, great people, and a variety of types of people who go.
As for davening in the yeshiva, it may be an off weekend for shabbos chanukah, so there may not be a minyan there.
Ohev tzedek is a chabad/chassidish minyan, but has others too.

The walk is less than a mile I don’t know how many people will be at the hotel I only went in the summer and met others who stayed at the hotel because they were visiting kids at camp
The hotel is nice but has electronic doors when you walk in
Last time I was in Scranton they had a dollar store across the street and a supermarket and bank across the street from the hotel
The shul has a nice kiddush

Any nice Shabbos Chanukah 2022 programs (Shabbos before or after Chanukah), or Thanksgiving weekend, with food, less than 2 hours driving from NYC, for under 20 people?
