I invented meatball falafals. I had leftover meatballs from Monday so I bought fresh pitas, spread chumus, added the preheated balls and some Israeli salad. And guess what? It was yummy! I would make it again, on purpose..

I do that all the time. So easy and yum

I do this often but more lazy. I don’t even bother turning the meat into meatballs. I sauté the meat crumbled up with onion and serve in stuffed in pita with Tehina and Israeli salad (with some added diced sour pickles)

That’s brilliant! I’ll have to try it bli neder. Thank you for posting!

Get onion glasses. They work.

Omg I just ordered these!!! I tried sunglasses and they didn’t work. For some reason as I’ve gotten older it’s much worse. Glad I opened this thread.

Really not necessary to invest in onion goggles. A regular pair of goggles that I already own does the trick. I keep a pair in the kitchen for this purpose.

baked potatoes topped with either cream cheese, cheese sauce, or baked beans... that's it ... and whatever else they find in the fridge and drag into the living room and claim they want but don't actually eat ever.

Rice and pecan crusted schnitzel from the freezer. Made it “fancy” by plating the food instead of putting the pans out.

Most of the week we eat leftovers or a soup that I pulled out of the freezer. Once a week I make “real food”.

I made a big pot of chicken soup to freeze, but I only freeze the clear broth, so tonight was chicken soup with the vegetables and chicken, plus rice noodles.
I heated up some roast vegetables from last night and fried rice for anyone who wanted something more.

Truth is I love chicken soup and when it’s full of vegetables, chicken and noodles it’s so filling.
My kids think this isn’t a ‘proper’ dinner but I love it!
