Essential oils that please you. Lavender, clove, cedar and eucalyptus help repel moths, but you may like the various citruses, mint, sandalwood, rose, or others. Whole spices, dried flower buds and leaves like bay or mint as opposed to the essential oils also work well, as do clove-studded Esrogim or other thick-skinned citrus fruits. I have not found dried citrus rind to be worthwhile and it looks like someone got lazy after snacking, but YMMV.

Consider also fragrant soap such as Yardley’s Old English Lavender or Rose. The plus here is that after the fragrance dissipates—in ten years or so—you can use the soap for its intended purpose and nothing goes to waste. Even plain old unscented Ivory has a mild smell that helps freshen drawers.
