I order from a lady locally. She cooks yum real Hungarian and delivers Brooklyn. She is very accommodating to menu and diet restrictions. My kids hate takeout so much junk in restaurant food

Anyone ever tried Ubereats? Its a lot of fun, but probably is only available in for kosher in big Jewish cities.

I live in Lakewood, so we do chinese, shnitzel sandwiches, or dairy sometimes. Its great for when you're being extra lazy and don't want to cook AND don't want to go out to pick up food. Very Happy

Or for when DH has the car and is out till late at a wedding and you aren't gonna cook just for yourself.

I agree that it's a very convenient option, but it also adds to the total cost.

Rotisserie chicken
By me it’s $12 with 2 sides, on Mondays

Not worth to make chicken at that price

Sometimes I buy 2 specials and freeze the other for another day.

Motzi Shabbos - pasta and sushi
Sunday is Chinease takeout if we don't go out to eat in a restaurant.
During the week we get fleish takeout and milchag depending on our mood.
We almost never get pizza.

Eat take out while you can. Im 46 with cholesterol meds and overweight and fatty liver. Multiple Benign BH adenomas. High BP and meds for BP. (Low vit D. ) Cab have gluten only shabbes per my doc. Lactose intolerant. So my DH orders take out but it's 95 percent bad for me. I need to have my own or Im just heading to early big trouble ChV. Its hard to stop the temptation. Even when I have time to cook Its sometimes what they are allowed and im not. So its again a failure because I cheat. I told husband to order more dietetic for me.
