How do you make the frozen ones? Defrost first? Or roast straight from freezer?
My husband loves them crunchy but they always get soggy in the oven ;(

Frozen ones are never going to taste the same as fresh.
Does he want to eat them raw?
They're most crunchy that way.

You can eat raw green beans? Didn't know.

A lot of times by simchos they have green beans as a side by the main course and they're usually well spiced and crunchy. Anyone know how they do that?

Fresh green beans uncovered in a 400 degree oven for 8 minutes. Don't add any more time - keep them bright and green.
For a frozen bag, it won't be as crunchy or bright but roast from frozen (don't defrost) on a cookie sheet for about 12 min.

Thanks! Ur sure about the not defrosting part? I thought the excess water that comes out when it defrost in the oven causes it to be soggy. But could be not

Defrosting it first makes it soggy

To get them extra crispy, you can use the wire rack that comes with some baking cookie sheets.
I broil for 6-8 minutes.
Doesn't work as well with juicy marinades or garlic etc.

Blanched French-green beans is also crisp and delicious.
I season them with sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds and a little corse salt.
