For how long would you let a 3-4 month old baby nap before waking baby?

He shouldn’t sleep for more than a feeding cycle. So if he eats every 3 hours he shouldn’t sleep longer than that during the day.

After 2h. So baby can eat every 3h. And it takes about an hour to nurse, burp, change, play a little etc. Daytime sleep should be 1.5-2h at this age.

Trixx, a feeding takes him 10-15 minutes.

At that age I never woke my baby, but he wasn’t on a schedule yet. When I got him on more of a schedule at 5-6 months, I starting capping his naps to stick to it. So if you want him to be on a certain schedule of naps/night sleep, I’d probably wake by 2 hours in general, although I think when they’re so little it doesn’t matter.

Mig100, 15 minutes for a feeding is normal for a 3 month old baby. About 6-7 minutes per side and when he gets a bottle it take about 7 minutes.

If this is unusual, something he doesn't do often, I would let him sleep (make sure he's breathing ofc). Sometimes kids are sick/under the weather and need extra sleep.
A 4 month old (my ped. says one month old, actually) does NOT need to be waken up to eat.

That may be normal but it seems outstanding to me. My girl took much much longer than tha but she always preferred engaging and playing to eating

I don’t believe in waking babies to eat at night, but I don’t let them sleep more than 3 hours at a time or stay awake less than an hour during the day until there’ve developed sleeping all night (even if they’re waking up to eat). Once they sleep all night I only wake them up if it’ll interfere with bedtime

My dr. says not more than 3 hours in the daytime. You want them to get on a schedule, not sleeping through half the day and then being up all night.

It's a little fast but still diaper, play time, of you're watching closely then by about an hour you should see signs of tiredness.

I have an almost 2 month old and he eats that long also or at Max 20 min if he is really hungry. He's gaining plenty and if he eats any longer or to much he spits up cause he's over stuffed.
I also have plenty of milk bh, I know cause when I pump I can get 2-3 ozs in like 4 min
Every baby and mother combo is different
