Has anyone ever gone on either of these program?
want to take 6 kids - ages 3-12, to a shabbos program this year.
1) which program is better for those ages?
2) is there stuff to do outside the hotel?
3) what do people do about lighting menorah in the hotel?
4) do you happen to know the kashrus?

By the Poconos, do you mean the great kosher escape or is there another program? We did the great kosher escape for Shabbos nachamu. Assuming that they're still in Mountain Laurel resort, there is tons to do around the hotel! There's a game room with arcades, a ping pong table, and an air hockey table. In another room, there's a pool table. There's a swing set outside that may not be much use in the winter, but in the summer with an autistic kid, it's a life saver. There are hiking trails around the hotel, and there is horseback riding available for an extra fee. There are a whole bunch of brochures with activities available around the poconos, but we didn't bother because there was enough to do at the hotel.
