Not necessarily. I paid 150 to cut it and that included wash and set. My wig is 26 inches long. I love it and it is extremely comfortable and looks amazing so far

If OP has only $800 for a wig why would she rent a wig for $400 if she can buy something that she can use for much more than one night?

She does t charge, just asks for your donation for hachnosas kallah. (she subsidizes wigs for needy kallahs .)

Im a sheitel macher. Irenes wigs had many sales for their old stock for $400 and I know many people bought. They might be doing more. I would recommend it.

I'll post another vote for Malky's wigs in case it doesn't work out. Mine was $550 3 years ago. I'm still very happy.

Lucky for you, there are tons of cheap wigs out there.

They are not the custom made 10k wigs, but comparable to the wigs in the 1-2k range? I would definitely say that!

If you buy a cheap wig from one of the above places, you can add baby hair, a lace front, a great cut and look amazing!

It probably won't last you very long (1-2 years) but my 1800 wig wasn't supposed to last that long either & you'll look great for the bar mitzvah!
