Has anyone ever treated their child for ( undiagnosed) pandas or other impulsive, erratic behavior via homeopathy instead of round the clock dose of antibiotics..?

I would look into nutritional supplements and other natural techniques before homeopathy. Nutrition has a much stronger scientific base as opposed to homeopathy which is at best anecdotal.

If your suspect strep, please get your child tested and on antibiotics! Untreated strep is potentially FATAL.
Supportive holistic medicine is important, as it will speed healing, support the immune system, and help the antibiotics work better.
It doesn't have to be either/or, there is a place for everything. If you leg was starting to turn gangrene, you wouldn't just go take some Arnica 30x and eat some kale.

Can homeopathy treat something of that magnitude? Please be aware that pandas can get really really bad without the right treatment. And it takes much longer to treat it effectively once it gets to that point. Speaking from experience, unfortunately, comparing the experience with one child vs another. I would much sooner use homeopathy in conjunction with standard treatment to see if it can hasten the healing, rather than trying it alone.

I give my son with fairly severe ADHD zinc, magnesium and a specialized omega 3 supplement. They have been a great booster to his medication but we found their effects were very limited on their own.

Despite what people are saying here. Even after allopathic treatment has failed them. Pandas isn't always an infection, it's a post-infectious autoimmune reaction. And there is a lot more to treating it than just killing the infection. You need to look at the whole person and ask what about their terrain allowed pandas to take hold? Holistic practitioners will look at the big picture. Homeopathy can be a big piece towards recovery for some. Here is a book by a well known homeopath specifically about pandas https://www.amazon.com/Reachin.....r=8-2
for more about the history of homeopathy, you can read The Impossible Cure by Amy Lansky PhD https://www.amazon.com/Impossi.....r=8-1
that being said, there are other options for treatment besides for homeopathy that don't include long term antibiotics, if you're just looking to avoid antibiotics. Such as herbs and natural supplements. Most people end up using multiple modalities and see different gains from each one. Or they cycle through a few to see what works best for them. Good luck!
