This summer. Coming from US, ordinary guests: the boy’s parents’ aunts, uncles, cousins, Boys family is Kippah srugah crowd from places like Modiin and Hashmonaim. Boy’s parents are professionals, not wealthy, make decent money, but from everything we see, keep things simple. No frilly flounces and sparkly jewels on wedding gowns, for example.
What to wear to shul on Shabbos and to seudah? We don’t know if there will be a seudah just on Shabbos after shul or if there will be a thing on motzash, too.

You can wear simple shabbat outfits, to all simcha related parties/kiddushes/shul goings.
Dati Leumi parties/smachot are never over the top. Just regular shabbat ware.
