I use SO many bobby pins/barrettes/T-pins etc. and they get all over the house. I am wondering how the mothers here keep their young children from finding/ch"v choking on these?
Also, I am wondering about how people clip their little kids' hair and kippahs with these things - seems useful and often necessary, but isn't it a huge risk??

What do you use them for? except hair
It's not a huge risk to use them, no. I don't use them on a baby but apart from that

Just hair/sheitels...
Isn't it a serious choking hazard if a kid gets them?

I try to use pony holders on my kids instead of pins. while I love the look of pins more I use them only when I'm with the kid, not when I'm sending to a babysitter or playgroup. I know it's still not very safe. I take out pins when putting them down for a nap or bedtime. and I pray.
