I am looking for a very quick and easy bean soup recipe, preferably made with a variety of canned beans, such as Pinto and/or kidney beans. Also a tomato base. Thanks for any suggestions!

I used to make a white bean soup from The kosher by design short on time book that was very good. With pinto and kidney beans, I would make chili either pareve or meaty.

Sauté onions
Pour in 3-4 cans of beans, any variety (I use kidney, pinto, black, pink)
Dump in 1/4 to 1/2 jar salsa
Add water, salt, pepper
Bring to boil
Eat

OP here. Keep posting, please.
Silly question, but do you drain beans and rinse before putting into pot? I guess YES, but please let me know for sure, cuz I never made this type of soup before.

If you're talking about me, no, I stopped doing that. Some of the nutrients go into the liquid, the beans are already rinsed before being canned, and I think it adds flavor to the soup. This is my "lazy mom lunch" that makes the kids happy. (I have some real soup lovers.)

Oh, and yesterday we experimented by putting some shards of tortilla chips or tacos in the soup as "croutons."
