I just made an easy oven pepper steak with duck sauce (from the BY cookbook).

Preheat oven to 350, and in a greased pan layer chopped onions, pepper steak, salt and black pepper, colored pepper slices, and water chestnuts (I used mushrooms instead). Mix a cup of duck sauce with 4 crushed garlic cubes and 3 TBSP soy sauce, pour over pan, and bake covered for 2 hours.

Do you think I can do this recipe with chicken legs ? If yes, with skin on or skin off?

I would do chicken cutlets sliced into chunks instead, and reduce baking time to one hour.

I'd give it back lol. I bought it once at an american shop (irony: for a so called heimish recipe, I bought the book touted as heimish and found nothing such). We wasted it
