Thinking of buying from Aliexpress but would never put Chinese clothing on a baby without washing beforehand. Are fur pom pom hats washable?

Buy the ones that have a snap that keeps the fur pom pom in place. You can remove the pom pom and then wash the hat properly.

The one I ordered has a snap for the pom pom to be removed. I think most do. The hat itself is washable.

Aliexpress is not a very informative site and I can't tell whether there is a snap (no reviews or pictures mention it either)
