there's also something called davis dyslexia method. Not so familiar with it but used to have a friend who did it.
Just to give you chizuk. My dh had dyslexia and b"H he is highly functional. It really only shows when he has to read out loud. He wouldn't chose to not have it. It makes his mind think differently then other people which has it's perks
