I recently discovered you can buy mirrors to put on your car's side mirrors that extend the view of what you can see. There are a lot of varieties--rectangles and circles that you still on your mirrors, and also some that clip to the top of your side mirrors.
Have you used these? Do you find them helpful? Any unexpected disadvantages?

Google how to properly position the mirrors you have. This should improve visibility of your blind spot. You may find you don't need additional mirrors.
(I'm told most people have their mirrors positioned improperly.)

Dh's car came with them. Definitely worth it.
