I can't remember all the games we've played over the years, but we often do some sort of trivia game-split into teams and have to answer trivia questions, sometimes we theme the questions to chanuka, or jewish things, or just general knowledge (my family are big into trivia). Winning team gets a prize, either something silly or chocolate.
Think of any sort of party game and see if you can theme it to chanuka.

I really hope things have improved..

15 years ago I was invited to a Chan party for the neighborhood
There was a potato peeling contest for women in their 30s Can't Believe It

I never went to a C party again...

Grab bags!!
1- everyone thinks of a quote and brings something to represent it. Whoever guesses it gets it.
Examples: don’t make an issue out of a tissue. Make a bow out of tissues...
Or if life gives you lemons... and give lemonade. These are simple but you can think of deeper ones

2- grab bag representing a store.
Target- a bow and arrow.

3 - everyone writes down a problem that they have and someone brings a grab bag as a solution. By the party you pick out a problem and everyone guesses which gift is for that.

4 everyone brings a random item from there house. You put it all into one table. Someone picks out one item and holds up 2 alphabets. Everyone needs to think of words with these two letters to describe item. Whoever does gets it.
Example: a notepad. Picks it up with h and m. Handy memos
