I am looking for a makeup artist for my sons bar mitzvah. I’m very out of it when it comes to these things. Can you recommend some of the popular names and if they are on Instagram what’s the Instagram name? Also, it’s just for one person or possibly two if my mom wants to join me, so it can’t be someone who takes a minimum of people.

Mazel tov! Miriam Follman, Bashy kleinbart, priva makeup, dassy Levine, each one is terrific. You just have to pick the "look" you're going for. Like, ones an expert in natural looks, one does airbrush looks.. One does heavy eyes, one does statement looks, look their names up.

May your son grow to be a huge Talmud chacham and give you loads of nachas! The chillest one I ever had was also terrific but she came from lakewood, Miriam Follman. But Make up by priva is terrific too and she's Brooklyn (and a sweety!!)

Makeupbybaila (Baily Feldman) does a very fine, natural look and is very calm. No one will come to your house for one face, but perhaps for two. GL.

A few months ago , I stumbled upon Esty Kruger's Instagram page and I must say she seems amazing. I have no clue how much she charges or if she has a minimum amount of faces required

Her work looks beautiful on Instagram but you need to go to their place. She doesn’t come to you For 1-2 faces I believe

Right. You may need to go to her. She is on Instagram.

Chany Kresh is also great. She may do 1-2 faces if she has time between appointments. She is also on Instagram.

Bumping this up - looking for a makeup artist in Brooklyn to do wedding makeup for sisters and sisters-in-law of the kallah (kallah herself is going somewhere else).

Batya and some of the other ones mentioned charge a fortune at this point. We're looking for someone in the $60-$80 range, not more.

I think Esther Levy (mentioned above) is still in that price range
