So I sent in an application and didn’t hear anything from them . When I called to follow up they said call back in a week and two and they’ll give me an interview. Does an interview mean your accepted ?

No an interview doesn’t mean you’re accepted.

You need people to call on your behalf and push for you to get in

Yes I believe they give everyone an interview but there are limited spots so out of 100 who apply there might b only 30-40 spots

These schools are like the FBI. They make so many inquires before they even allow you to come for interview . I keep hearing that they called my sons rebbeim teachers and schools .

So only have experience with primary but basically you sit with ur son in rabbi gelbwachs office, he tested my son on Alef beis, asked some simple questions to him, what’s his name? Who’s his morah? What does he like to do at school? He spoke w bit to us about who we know there, some small talk

Then went to rabbi feldmans office and he also had some conversational questions about work, the area we live in etc.

They might give you a tour

They didn’t ask any questions that were too personal or tried to trip someone up.

Hope that helps

I don't know how hard it is to get in but if you do know that you are in good hands. It's a great school that really cares about their students!

We just had an interview and after he went through the lists and said he needs to see it there’s room . Then he gave us a tour of the school . Does that mean we’re accepted ?

If you are a good Jewish family and you are always seen appropriately dressed you shouldn’t have too much to a problem!
