Now that the measles hype is over, some rabbanim are coming out against the removal of religious exemption for vaccines. I'm glad NJ has learned something from NY's colossal mistake.

In NY, both frum representatives Felder & Eichenstein voted AGAINST removing religious exemptions - and they could not stop it.
Only a matter of time before EVERY state removes exemptions

Maybe do a google search before making accusations. Thanks for apologizing:
Although they both are in favor of vaccination, both State Senator Simcha Felder and Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein voted negative on the bill.

Part of the problem is in not allowing doctors the latitude that they need in order to delay or omit vaccines for children that they feel should not be vaccinated so it becomes a religious issue. Insurance incentives also cloud the picture.

First Government took away Religious Exemptions, then Government took away medical exemptions - it is no longer up to your doctor's opinion.
Government only respects medical opinion when it parrots Government Opinion - like by abortion.

Some doctors played "dirty pool" and accepted bribes for medical exemptions that had no medical basis so they ruined it for those who legitimately qualified for exemptions.
Also, almost every government on earth has some type of vaccine requirement.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

And many anti-vaxxers have children who had serious adverse reactions but
government won't give them a medical exemption.
Less than 2% didn't vaccinate - should be left alone. Can still have 98%
herd immunity without this tyranny.
Real reason for taking away exemptions is to make it impossible to do
Vax vs UnVax study by destroying the "smoking gun" control group -
100% unvaxxed

I agree that the doctor should make the decision and not have to answer to the government or insurance company, although many people take kids to clinics that don't know the family history or other factors that need to be addressed.
While I agree that the study would be interesting, nobody can compel study participants to avoid all vaccines past age 18 and there would have to be neutral researchers to access health rather than merely combing medical records.

The reason why they took the right away from Drs is because of all the medical exemptions written for small reactions or because the parents asked for it . There are Drs who are known for giving out exemptions freely . Personally I know of people who travel 2 hours away to some quack who writes medical exemptions for all their kids (oot but the school does not accept religious exemptions for obvious reasons).
It's a problem and the government should rewrite criteria for medical exemptions.

Not relevant. Poem is about socialists, trade unionists, and Jews, not rapists, murderers and anti-vaxxers.

Good point. Unfortunately it wouldn't be possible to prove that the main reason vaccine companies want vaccines to be universally mandatory is to avoid having a healthy, non-vaccinated control group. But, it's a legitimate reason which should be entertained.
If the government can tell you what to put into your body, that sets the precedent that they can tell you what to do with your body. Getting people used to the idea of fewer individual liberties for "the good of the group" is a continuation of the current American slip into bolshevik inspired tyranny. It's amazing how so many people people love bolshevism -so long as it's their opinion that's being enforced.

You. Are. Nuts.
Period.
Sorry for being blunt. Go somewhere else for TLC.
(For the record, I'm not anti vaccinations, but to equate them with rapists and murderers is sickening and not a mentally stable sentiment.)
