I am preparing a dish that will have either fried feta cubes or haloumi cubes in it. I am planing on coating the cheese in flour, egg and breadcrumbs, and then frying or baking. Has anyone tried doing this in advance, by about 12 hours or more?
Thanks in advance!

It’s best when it’s freshly fried. I would fry it right before serving.

You can bread it ahead of time and freeze. Bake or fry fresh.

What about fried mozzarella- I would fry in little piles (without anything else) so that they’ll make little crispy crackers? I won’t have access to a kitchen in the place I’m taking it to.

Cheese needs to be fried fresh, or else it gets soggy.
