I got two spam text messages last night at unearthly hours. I have never subscribed to any services or given out my cell phone number..is there any way I can stop this from happening? Besides that they woke me up ( I have a reason for leaving my cell phone on at night), they cost me and it can add up at the rate I'm going.

Maybe its spam to an email address that you forwarded to your cellphone

I recently had that. I was really annoyed because it was costing me $$, and on top of that they were about viagra and about "pleasing my girl" (not in such nice words!). yuk.
I have Verizon and I called them up and they told me how to disable text messaging from e-mail addresses and websites, you have to do it online. What service provider do you have?

I also have verizon. Do you by any chance remember how to do it online? I actually filed a complaint thru the website that MahPitom provided. I was horrified that when I went to the website listed on the text message to send them an email..it ended up being a [filth] sight. I would never have guessed from the text- it was kind of neutral..I xed out of it so fast..
