In the winter, I sit to DH’s right, in front of the heating vent. In the summer, the air blows too cold for me, so I sit to DH’s left 😂

We also hate it. We never buy the armchairs, only regular dining chairs, comfortable ones for everyone.
The armchair has the arms that prevent you from pulling it up close to the table. I don't know how people sit in it.
