Bake 2 hours uncovered ok 350’
Then double wrap pan place in oven on higher rack. On the lower rack put a pan of cold water directly under your kugel. Bake 200’ for minimum 8 hours to overnight.

Overnight potato kugel, yum!! I have a slightly different method that results in something very special.
Start your kugel in the regular way. After 1 1/2 hours, turn the heat down to 275. After another half hour, pour a cup of chicken soup onto the kugel and cover tightly with double aluminum foil. Check it every three hours or so, adding another cup of chicken soup when it looks dry. Do this until done.
I like to start my kugel about 8 pm the night before so I will only have to check it once or twice during the night. If you really want to make it a masterpiece, fry up 2 vadalia onions that are well chopped. Uncover the kugel, add the onions on top, and raise the heat to 375 for half an hour.
This is an amazing dish. Enjoy!!
