Any ideas of something really fun and exciting to add to a sleepaway camp program? Target ages are 10-12.

What have your daughters really enjoyed?

TIA

Is ductigami making items out of duct tape or something else?
Does cake/pie smashing happen more than once a summer?!!?

The way you can set it up, is that each bunk rotates with activities instead of entire camp doing same activity at once.

string art. glass blowing.

My son participated in a short term camp that had some of these activities, so I think each activity was done once but they rotate. Every bunk does different activity at different time but it is set up that way. I don't know if you can set it up same way or differently.

Some of the other exciting activities I've seen by some entertaining events.

My daughter said she would love a wilderness training activity.

I think silk scarf water marbling (Google it) would be really cool. Also other clothing projects like using bleach to make designs on t-shirts or whatever.

So I seriously think we do most of what’s been mentioned here. I’ve never heard of water marbling before though and it sounds intriguing.

Do you think kids (10-12) year olds can really do it though? And I think we’d maybe do it with other mediums (ie mugs or t shirts) over silk scarves (just don’t see them as very kid like...)

Keep the ideas coming, thanks!
