We do family movie night like twice a winter. The kids are ages 15-7. We watch movies like Matilda, Home Alone, American Girl ones... what can you guys suggest as we are looking for new ideas?

Girls or boys?

Free Willy, but it's kind of emotional. Not sure if teen boys would go for it.

Both.

We also liked Willi Wonka and the Wizzard of Oz.

Wonder is great but you have to know if your 7 year old is sensitive to seeing disfigurement.

There’s a lot of really good classics that are clean and wholesome and great for family movies. They are also able to be re-watched a few times and they get better each time. Here are a few good suggestions: A few of them do have a little kissing, if that’s a no-no, then maybe you want to pre-watch first.
Sergeant York
Mr. Deeds Goes to Town
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
The Absent Minded Professor
It’s a Wonderful Life
The African Queen
Modern Times
Shirley Temple movies are great
Any of the I Love Lucy reruns are hilarious

I have not seen many of these movies but I do know that Mrs. Doubtfire is not as clean as the American Girl movies, but now I see you are fine with Home Alone, so I will retract my comments.

We loved Daddy Day Care.

Why is Mrs Doubtfire on the same level as Home Alone? I found Home Alone to be ok tznius wise.

The LEGO movies are really funny and clean.
Basically anything Pixar will work, too.

I posted a list of movies I was allowed to watch as a teenager (with the exception of Paddington which is a recent movie) which included Mrs. Doubtfire and I grew up chasidish so its considered clean.

ETA: I was also allowed to watch The Sound of Music, Willy Wonka, The Wizard of Oz, Mighty Duck and Free Willy but those were already mentioned so I didnt repeat them. Matilda was my favorite movie of all time and I desperately wished there was a Miss Honey to adopt me as well Smile I'm sure there were other movies that I saw but cant remember titles now.

The website IMBD has a parental advisory section for every movie and it’s pretty good about listing the questionable scenes in each particular movie. (It may not cover things like simple romantic kissing though)

OK.

Some of the Pixar movies, as someone already mentioned, may work well for your family.

My family really liked:

The Incredibles
Monsters inc.
Up (this one is a little sad/emotional, same idea as Free Willy that I mentioned before)
Ratatouille

amongst others....

This is from the weeks off between school & camp, and camp & school, when they watched a few movies, so pretty recent. These movies worked really well for us.

Also, from my childhood-
Sister Act
