I wouldn't worry about septic joint. Septic joint comes with fever usually high, warm lump, redness around the lump. What OP is describing sounds like a harmless cyst that will probably go away on it's own. But do get it checked out just to make sure.

So Dr said it's not a lump but rather very swollen/fluid in one area. Now we have to find what it's coming from. Need to take bloodwork to test for many things including lyme.

Both the fluid that they removed from my sons knee and the bloodwork both came back positive for Lyme. We also had to go through the process of testing for a whole bunch of things. Good Luck and refuah shelaima.

Bloodwork came back totally normal. He said to wait a few weeks to see if it goes away on its own maybe it's an injury she doesn't remember abt
