To cook or bake?

It's cooking 3 hours and still feels tough and rubbery.

You need go broil it about ten or fifteen minutes on each side. That’s all.

You can’t slow cook it.

Sear, use a meat thermometer to check for desired doneness. Turn from side to side to achieve nice browning on the outside. It shouldn’t be cooked for long - depending on thickness it should take 5-20 minutes to sear.

This.

Marinate it first, preferably overnight.mine is marinating, as we speak, for tomorrow's supper.
(Half cup oil (regular not olive)
Half cup soy sauce
Quarter cup honey
Six cloves garlic crushed
Salt pepper
Dried Rosemary)

Sounds good.

Broiling usually browns/burns it, and kids don't like. In the end it did get soft and well done.

But good to know for nexttime.

I do this but add chives and some apple cider vinegar.
Marinate overnight and broil in the sauce 7-10 minutes on each side.
So yum
