I know you’re supposed to give a nice amount. What is average amount in a regular mainstream Lakewood Yeshiva?

Bumping this up. If you can’t get to school to personally give it to the Rebbi, is it appropriate to have your son give it? Can you mail it?

For an older child, I give it to them to give to the rebbe. For a young child I've dropped it off in the school office or you can put it in the mail. I wouldn't rely on a 5/6 year old to deliver without direct supervision.
Most people I know in the Lakewood area give $36-50

There is old Lakewood and there is new Lakewood (people that moved from Brooklyn or elsewhere). This is the discrepancy.

I live in Lkwd and give my boys rebbeim $36. My brother (also in Lakewood) gives $100.
Both men are in kollel.... Everyones finances are different. People give depending on what they can. I would love to give more but can not afford to right now.
I am pretty sure there are parents in my sons school who give less.
