I’ve had kids doing this and it ended up being strep.
I’m not saying it def is but may be worthy of checking out.

If it's not strep, I would get it checked out. The hormones aldosterone and prostaglandin regulate urine concentration during sleep. If a child is not concentrating urine, the hormone levels could be off and I would definitely want to know why.

Generally speaking it's not abnormal, but since you say it started only recently and you also mentioned that it's happened twice in the same night, I would mention it to the pediatrician and ask if there's anything to look into.
