Will be in NYC soon, haven't been there in 11 years! Looking for recommendations on the best gluten free friendly places to eat out. I'm also off dairy. TIA!

Steakhouses work with you. You can get various steak, potato and salad dishes.
For a small GF breakfast/lunch diner, you can go to Nu Cafe 47.

We once took a GF/dairy-free relative to Orchidea in BP and found them to be very accommodating. I believe Mike's Bistro in the city labels GF dishes clearly on the menu.
