I need to purchase a birthday gift for a female relative who is eleven years old. Does a small black DKNY pocketbook sound like an appropriate gift? I won't buy her clothes bc she has very specific taste and I know that she may not like what I get. I've gotten her books in the past, but I'd like to get her something different. Jewelry is something I will get when she turns Bat-Mitzvah. Do girls that age even carry a pocketbook?

I have a sister of a similar age, though she is quite babyish still and would find the pocketbook a little too sophisticated. She likes small bags but normally goes for more girly options

What about a basket of hair accessories. Scrunchies and headbands.
Or a new trendy backpack. (If she doesn't already have)
