Need practical tips for getting things done. I always end up lazily sitting around and then I say ok I need to get better, and it just never happens. My phone is a problem but I can’t give up Instagram. Help! I’m a huge procrastinator and I really want to change that!

I sometimes unplug my router if I want to get things done without a distraction. Maybe try that or shutting the mobile data on your phone so calls still come in but not much else.

I watch something while I clean... takes longer but at least it gets done.

Different tips work for different people, so try a bunch and see what motivates you. Find some podcasts/shiurim/audiobooks and listen to them while you clean. Track your phone usage and try to get it down--there are a few apps that can help you with this.

It breaks down the tasks to 15 minutes a day so everything gets done in small intervals. You call in every day for that day's tasks.

No membership needed for this. They have expanded programs available that cost money, which I've never tried.

I like setting a timer for 15 or 20 minutes, putting my phone down and seeing how much I can get done, then taking a break and doing it again ( repeat as much as necessary)
