I am looking to go away for pesach but can't afford a program. I have been looking at websites for house rentals and when I go into google maps, they all seem to be far from a shul. Any ideas of how to find a place within walking distance of a shul?
I am looking for a place between NY and North Carolina
anonymous because ppl know I am looking for this

Choose a destination, see where the shul is, and then search your dates on AirBNB and VRBO, then use the map to zoom in to the area around the shul. For example, if you chose Norfolk, where there's only one primary shul, then you'd try to find a rental nearby.
If you choose a place like Baltimore with multiple shuls, then look at where the various neighborhoods are and try to find a rental in one of them, then confirm that it's close enough to a shul where you'll feel comfortable.
It seems overwhelming, but if you just focus on searching in 1-2 places, it's manageable, and if you don't find what you want, then pick another 1-2 places to look in.
