We recently had a small fire in our house. Thank god we didn’t have any physical damage, but there was a lot of smoke damage. Does anyone have experience with getting the smoke smell out of a sheitel? Someone told me that it’s really hard, but I’m wondering if anyone has had firsthand experience.
I would go to queens or to 5T to wash it, if someone can, but I can only go on Sunday.

I recently saw a tip to put a dryer sheet on the sheitel head and then put the sheitel on top of the dryer sheet.
That was for oven smell, but you can try it for smoke smell as well.
