My husband's birthday is coming up. I want go get him a pretty teapot and teacups as gift since he is a big tea drinker.
What kind of teapot is better for steeping loose leaf tea, tetsubin cast iron or ceramic/porcelain?
I only found one brand that sells kosher loose leaf tea, TEA FORTE. If you know of another brand that's good, please share.
Thank you so much!

Ceramic.
1. Enamel-coated cast iron sounds durable but it eventually chips; once that happens, it rusts.
2. It’s also really heavy, making it that much more likely than ceramic to be dropped and chipped.
3. See #1.

I asked my husband who's a tea foodie. Those without aromas are all kosher. But ask your local rav because I bet this will be bashed.

You're right. But I want to get flavored tea, but maybe it's naturally flavored? I'll look in to it.
Thank you!

If I may... don't get a pretty teapot for your husband. Thats girly (sorry).
I am obsessed with this company and this product. Its SO COOL and its specifically for lose tea. They have about 100 kosher varieties. Get a tea press, they have them for hot or iced, and they sell them ad individual travel cups. Its like a french coffee press - but for lose tea! A tea lover would think this is SO COOL! And the flavors - omg they have the coolest flavors.
Here is a link to the hot tea press. https://www.davidstea.com/us_e.....art=1
Here is the iced tea press. https://www.davidstea.com/us_e.....art=1
