My great grandfather smoked well into his 90s... does that mean everyone should do the same?

I'm talking about my choice and my experience with this vaccine. You and your grandfather can do whatever you choose to do.

The whole point is about choice rather than the government deciding to exclude students who choose not to take Gardasil. Some kids are living in circumstances that would mean that the best choice for them is the vaccine but parents should be able to discuss the choice with the doctor and make their own decisions.

From a NY Rep:
"I can't convey the amount of opposition we are hearing about this legistlation. Even serious liberals."

KEEP IT UP!!! Keep calling and letting them know we do not want mandates of HPV and flu.

ANOTHER QUOTE FROM A REP to a constituent about the repeal of the religious exemption and the 2020 session:
"You were too easy on the legislature last session. You need to come on harder, bigger, louder and show up harder and louder."
Some have thought the protests etc from last session and since June 13th have been inappropriate and have worked against us. But the above quote is straight from the mouth of a representative. This rep thought that our methods from the session we lost the religious exemption were to soft, too quiet.

Make yourselves heard loud and clear come January 8 when legistlature is back in session!

Minors shouldn't be allowed to make their own choices about what shoes to wear. That is why they are called MINORS.

Senator Biaggi has REMOVED her name as a CO- Sponsor to S2276 the bill to mandate Flu Shots.
Don’t think for a second your Calls and Emails are not having an effect.

This was posted on the facebook group "HPV and FLU shot awareness NY." Keep calling and emailing. Let these senators and assemblymembers know your position on these bills.

One woman's experience with Senator Hoylman, sponsor of these bills.

Quote:
When I spotted Senator Hoylman on our Amtrak train this morning, I told my travel buddy I thought we should go speak with him, but I didn't really know what to say, given the fact that he's the sponsor of the hellatious mandate bill in the Senate and we all expect him to defend it with his last dying breath. We ended up running into two of our other members, and together we went to speak with the senator. He obviously wasn't happy to be swarmed, and I noticed him quickly closing out the windows which were open on his laptop, but he was very polite and listened to what we had to say. With a brief conversational detour to point out a bald eagle he apparently sighted through the window.

It was civil enough, but he kept circling around to his staunch belief in Gardasil. He asked if we knew anyone who had cervical cancer... we came back with... Choice. Then the conversation made its way to the bill which would allow minors to consent to treatment etc without parental consent. All of us were competing with one another to weigh in on that particular bill. I told the senator that I remember being a perfect idiot at the age of 18, let alone 9, 10, or 11. Which is true.

Anyway, the other ladies said what they said. And he came back with.. "Your children are not your property." At which point... time stood still, for me at least. I mean, talk about a loaded comment. There was a lot I wanted to say in response, but I got edged out by another one of the moms. And then, before I knew it, it was all over because the train was pulling into the station. I got caught up in the excitement of the day, but now that I'm home and thinking some more, I am having PTSD. Your children are not your property. It's reverberating in my mind.

What can we deduce from that one pronouncement?

I mean, yeah, they're not our property like a rancher owns a cow. But, really?

We bring them into this world, and we give them everything we can in the way of nurture, and we're held responsible for the feeding, clothing, education of the little ones, but... they never belong to us, not really? Not when they're 9, not when they're 11? Not even if we're really good to them? We're doing it all for the socialist state whose leaders get the ultimate say-so? Because they know better than us? That's why we're having kids? To hand them over, essentially? Even before the age of 18? This is the scheme?

And the thing is, Senator Hoylman appeared to be rather sincere in this belief. And that scares me.

All these years, I've been thinking the state can only take away parental rights upon a clear showing of abuse or neglect. Now I'm thinking, there are people running this state who really don't believe in the concept of parental rights as I conceived of parental rights.

I don't know. I am feeling very unsettled.

This is the attitude we are dealing with. You don't get to make choices for your child. We, the government aka some liberal idiots, know what your child needs and we will enforce it by all means.

Call Hoylman at (212) 633-8052 or (518) 455-2451 and let him know what you think about his position that your kids are essentially his.

If only my dear friend would have taken this vaccine she wouldn’t be suffering from a rare and aggressive form of cervical cancer today. She has young children that she would love to be around to marry off. And no, being frum isn’t protection, she comes from a chassidishe family. Maybe, just maybe, the vaccine isn’t so bad.

Maybe it should be a parent or adolescent/adult CHOICE.
Speak to the 2 frum girls who are paralyzed after receiving the HPV vaccine.

Its not about the damages. To VAX or not to VAX, both have stories of damages. The question is Choice or No Choice? Especially when concerning things that arent catchy in public. Do you want choice when it comes to your body? Your kids bodies? How about China? One kid policy? Government did it for the good of the country? How would you feel if the US made a child limit due to child endangerment in large families by the nature of it and crowding and food shortages? Forced birth control into your body after child number 3 or 4? No option to do nfp or condoms etc.
Do we want medical tyranny or choice? Would we just let survival of the fittest take its natural course? Let fools do themselves in by choice if it doesn't affect others? And shouldn't parents not government be in charge of their children? If they emancipate teens to decide on VAX then they should also match that age for voting, serving, and drinking.

That’s terrible and very sad.
Can we agree that being paralyzed is better then dying from cancer. I know it’s a stupid discussion but honestly if you had to choose one?
What are the statistics and proof of this paralyzation in connection to the vaccine?
I’d like to know.

I can go extreme as well. How far should
choice go? At what point is it considered neglect or abuse? Can parents not give antibiotics for a serious infection, medication for cancer, food for dinner etc.. it’s not black and white and we both know that.
