Hi,

I’m looking for a baby baby boy name similar to Ari or Eli or Levi - something that doesn’t sound too ‘translated’ (Judah, Jacob, Samuel, etc), but is still a familiar name in the secular world (so not Yehuda, Yaakov, Shmuel, etc).

Thanks!

Edited to change Samuel to Shmuel

Jacob is very popular. Not sure why you think that sounds translated. You can do jack or jake for short. Eli pronounces Eh- Lee is actually funny in the secular world because it’s a girls name. Pronounced EE-LIE it’s fine.

Ezra is trendy and popular in the secular world right now (not just amongst Christians).

I think she means a Hebrew name that works in English so Jacob is Yakov so she wouldn't use the name Jacob (if I understood cottectly).
