My doctor just told me that the flu shot has not been very effective this year. This strain is not a good match for the vaccine. And that this year's strain is particularly bad for young children. Less so for adults.

In fact, although I got the flu shot in October, I have started Tamiflu as I am a playgroup morah and a child (who did not get flu shot) in my group has the flu.

Elderberry/sambucuos is great and if you can get your hands on oscillococcinum. They both are great against flu
