My baby has 102.4. She was by the dr yesterday by she has stuffy nose and cough. Dr sed she’s fine just bad cold. This afternoon she felt hot and took her temp. Dr sed if she still has fever tom morning I shud bring her in. Shud I b worried/concerned? She’s so little. It’s so hard to c her unwell like this.
(My toddler has a cold/cough which is where baby caught this from)

Go back to the doctor. The baby can be a little sick one day and chvs extremely sick the next day and you wouldn't necessarily know without a stethescope or pulse oximeter. The fever is a warning sign.

Before 12 weeks, fever is an emergency. Take her immediately to get checked out

My baby had fever at 10 weeks with a green runny nose. My dr wasn’t overly concerned just gave some antibiotics and sent me home.
Please dont make up panic.

10 week old with fever is a valid reason to almost panic. As another poster said, it can become very very serious in a matter of hrs.

I'm sorry, but this is incorrect information. Fever less than 4 weeks old would require a hospital admission and a series of tests. In an 11 week old, this is not the case.
If the child was examined yesterday and there was no significant change (baby's overall behavior, lethargy, not eating/urinating, difficulty breathing) etc, then the child does not need to be seen again today. It is most likely viral (which is what it sounds like with the stuffy/runny nose) and can wait until tomorrow to be rechecked.

My baby ended up with an ear infection at 5 weeks! I didn't even know it's possible for such a little baby to get an ear infection.

I did. It hassomething to do with ear not being fully developed. Something to that effect I once heard. Something that resolves on its own.

My baby had fever by 8 weeks. Doctor wasn’t so concerned but treated him as a high risk patient. He did a CBC and kept on eye on him daily.

I would definitely give the dr a call with all the information and let him decide if baby should get checked out again!

Update: bh baby’s fever went down a bit with Tylenol. She’s eating and having wet diapers. Sleeping bit more than usual but understandable - she’s not feeling good. She’s still coughing. (Wet cough) spit up from post nasal drip once. Will prob bring her to dr in the morning. Unless a huge miracle occurs and she wakes up feeling stupendous!!
