My baby is a year and no where near walking. Hes crawling but not even trying to pull up to standing. Should I be nervous?
My imagination is going wild

My kids walk at 14 to 16 months and it kind of just happens all of a sudden. No need to sweat it at such a young age

My daughter is 15 months old and totally not walking. Maybe I should get nervous... though I'm really not.

Up until 17 months is considered normal. 18 months is late but not very late....

Mine walked around 14 months then 16. Now baby is 7mo and cruising along furniture.... pushing stuff. Should be walking really soon.
I walked comfortably by 9 months.... seems like mt genes won this time Smile

My kids all walked between 15-18 months. There is such a large range of normal, so don't be concerned. I've learned that my kids are just late walkers, and it's not a problem at all. If your baby keeps hitting those milestones at his own pace, he should be just fine.

What does your pediatrician say?
Mine told me to have EI come do an evaluation when my baby wasn't walking at 12 months (I live in NJ). My baby didn't qualify. He started walking at 18 months.

5 kids 15-21 months.
All fine now.
Actually the one that walked earliest is the clumsiest.

At 12 months?? My oldest was pretty delayed with her gross motor. They said they would recommend an evaluation if she wasn't walking by 18 months, but she started walking around then.

That's something to look into (I'm a therapist). If there's free EI where you live you can request an evaluation.

Same. Late walkers are the best. When they walk too early it’s like little dummies walking around. 15 month old is much smarter and more intuitive.

I had a 15, a 18 and a 10. I do NOT recommend the 10 month walker stage to anyone. They have zero sechel.

We're late walkers over here. Kids started walking between 20 and 22 months. Was not concerned.
