Shaitel band, glasses... too much going on under wig

Between wearing the shaitel band and slipping my glasses under my shaitel, behind my ear, it just feels too tight. My shaitel itself is a good fit but becomes tighter feeling with glasses and band.
I can’t go back to wearing the shaitel combs- those hurt me and pulled my hair.
Looking for other ideas.

a wig cap!
I used to wear glasses too and would drive me mad.
its basically like a piece of tights that goes over your hair and the wig goes ontop.
makes it sooo much more comfortable.

There is a small piece of velcro that you can put on your head under the shietel.

I’ve seen wig caps but read reviews that weren’t good.
Which one works for you?

Does this work on all shaitels or only Dini wigs? Does it pull your hair?

You could try the sheitel bands that have a strap closure (as opposed to the typical Velcro closure). I found that they are generally thinner and do a much better job than the Velcro ones.

I live in england, not sure where youre based. I just get the basic ones from a hair salon/shop.

any shop that sells diff types of hair products/afro hair stuff/ extensions will sell them.

I think they are ooriginally meant for people with afro or big hair.

It works on all shietels. It doesn't pull more than the band.

Why would a band pull hair? unless you have a velcro one I guess that can pull hair. I have an elastic one which does not pull any hair and is extremely comfortable

Put your hair in a wig cap under the Sheitel and wear a Sheitel band

do you have a shaitel Macher that can work with you?
My shaitel macher put in a half band on the top of the wig, can you picture that.
The band goes from ontop of one ear to the top of the other. Its enough to keep the wig in place but the band will get rubbed out every 6 months about and she will have to change it

I don’t know how it works but it doesn’t show your hair. There’s no straps hanging. Did you mean strands of hair? Not necessarily. Many ppl do it -basically anyone who tucks their hair behind ear doesn’t have ear pieces. Glasses don’t cause problems and it’s really comfortable. I don’t like the band but my sis loves it.
