Can you add a microwaved zucchini and reblend?

I would add a microwaved potato. That absorbs a lot of salt.

Is your goal to make it taste less salty or lower the sodium content. A single potato will help with the taste. Quickly boiling up a few more zucchinis in water, blending them and adding the water/zucchini will stretch the soup thereby lowering the amount of sodium in each serving.

I say add the potato raw (you can dice it so it’s faster) and heat it up, when cooked you can blend or leave like that.
If you have time you can put it in whole and then remove.
Potatoes absorb salt when they cook

If you like red lentils (come out more pureed than green, & turn yellow when cooked as well) you could add well cooked lentils for a Zucchini lentil soup would then dilute some of the salt content
(Instructions for cooking red lentils however have said not to add salt until cooked, or might not soften well, so perhaps boil seperately first)
