Hit the bottom of the jar. Or stick a spoon beneath the rimm. That should let air in which will pop the lid.
Was supper good?

I always bang the side of the lid on the floor. (Be careful not to break to glass). It always Pops off immediately after that.

I wear rubber gloves and take a knife and break the seal between jar and the cover and it pops each time .

One of my favorite childhood memories is my mom whacking the side of a marinara jar with a soup spoon! She always yelled at the jar like she was angry at it....so funny! 🤣

Putting a spoon under the lid and lifting it to let in air works every single time with no effort needed

You guys work so hard! I simply stick a spoon under then rim and push it up. You hear the cover pop . This takes zero amount of effort.

Stare at it for 20 seconds visualizing how it’s going to open. The top should twist right off after that.

This got me ROFL. Don't worry, Blue, I'm too busy laughing at this to laugh at the image of you sitting on the floor... LOL

Speak to the jar nicely, telling it that you're sorry for having to remove its cover but you're human and is contents were created to benefit you.

this except I use my tenderizer for this. as a matter of fact this is the sole use of my tenderizer as I don't use it for anything else.

I have osteoarthritis in all the joints in my hands, so I try to use as little pressure as possible.

I give the edge of the lid a couple of gentle taps on the counter, and then let it sit for a few minutes. After that, it usually has equalized the pressure enough to come right off.

If that doesn't work, then I grab the rubber dish washing gloves, and that always does the trick.

I for one am a fan of more of the sauces traditionally sold in jars being sold in paper cartons with bottle caps.
