The best book with techniques for fighting is Liberated Parents, Liberated Children. It is not a frum book, but I have seen it in Eichlers and other Jewish book stores. They have chapters and chapters on sibling fighting. It is also an interesting and entertaining read.

interesting how necessity is the mother of invention
I wasn't feeling well so I went to bed for a couple of hours and totally neglected my kids.
since they were bored and I wasn't around to help them with anything, they went into the kitchen and made compote together. it was actually quite good and they did it without fighting.
maybe I have to go to sleep more often

well I ate the compote my son presented me with and said thankyou and its really yummy.
is that counted? (don't worry I kiss them plenty, just not when I'm half asleep and feeling like I'm going to throw up)

yes its counted but I just think its really good if u tell them u noticed how they werent fighting and they were trreating each other so nicely and u are proud of them!
